Thanks for sending me the link! I found the conversation interesting and the sound recording pretty good too! Just in case you are not aware of it, Levelator is a great tool to normalize different inputs.

I would prefer a shorter episode though. You could easily make this into 3-4 standalone shows, For me, to see a time stamp of one hour+, really caused a drag on my energy. I usually don't have that much time at one time to listen to a single podcast.

Great first show, gang! I could comment about so much of what you said, but that would turn into a complete episode in itself.

As for the last.fm issue. I find that it is completely INaccurate to show my listening habits. Because I'm an audio producer, so much of what I produce gets filtered into this when I forget to turn off "scrobbling". So my last.fm account shows me listening to my own music, my voiceover work, the podcasts I listen to, and... this is the funniest... all of the stuff my 15 year old daughter buys on iTunes and listens to when she's converting for her non-iPod player.

I got rick-rolled, too. So I fought back with some Rich-rolling of my own! :D

Robert, who? mwahahahaha

Thanks for the show, everybody.

Hey guys, great show. Christine, always like your ideas and tweets. (you make me nostalgic for PA sometimes) Still working on getting to know the rest of you. I'd be interested in participating in a discussion sometime. I was listening in the car thinking to myself all of the things I would have added if I were on the call. Very motivating and thought provoking topic! Looking forward to the next one.

- some thoughts to add: @OddFollow - love it, I try to share it w/others whenever I can

- would like to add to discussion about twitter and my experience w/calling people out publicly and them responding w/good customer service, i.e. Twitter: The Public Complaints Department; I've now had 2 experiences with it, wonder your thoughts on it

- about domain registration, I picked dot com primarily because of the clientèle I service; they are mostly all over 65 and barely know the difference between an email address and a web URL and my thinking was dot com would be so much easier for them to recognize, plus even though I'm not technically selling anything with my site, I may want to in the future, so I thought dot com would serve me better later on; but Christine, your explanation of net vs com made lots of sense

- "handle envy" love it, there is a LOT to be said for picking the right handle, IMHO. My only battle with mine is the "THE" part, it gets dropped once in a while which I can totally understand but there are specific reasons why I chose to use it. Luckily there is tweetscan.

- there were a bunch of other things I could add and go on and on but my brain can only stay focused for so long. I'm lucky I even stayed focused long enough to enter what I have here! (another reason why twitter works so well for me)

ok, peace out! keep em comin!

Thanks, everyone for all the positive feedback and comments.

Our second show is "in the can" and is being edited. Not sure what the ETA on it is, but shouldn't be too long.

Check out our Facebook group!

Great first podcast that really did not have that first time feel. Cool topics and interesting points of view.

Keep up the good work!
